There is a domestic helper that I chatted online. She tell me something about her relationship into a person she loves.
She is 46 years old and still single. She tell me that she met the guy online. This guy is one of her ex-boy friend since they are 17 and 21 years old. The guy left her with no reason and she left empty and cried at that time she did not find the guy.
Now, she find the guy with three kids. The guy courted her again and tell something about his family. The guy tell her that he is separated with his wife ten years ago now...
The guy ask to her get marriage. She said I will...but she doubt if the guy really free to get marriage again. Until she found out that this man still married to his called separated wife...she confronted the guy and said. "I will divorce my wife when we arrive in the US".
The domestic helper now ask my opinion about the divorce issue. She ask me if the guy divorce his wife in the United State is free to remarried again in the Philippines. I answer him "no". Because there is no divorce in the Philippines...
The law in the United State, did not apply in the Philippines. I said "he still marriage in the Philippines and there is nor nullification being happen". You will be charge of bigamy and acts of adultery if you agree with his plan...
Till she found out that the guy cheated her. Because the guy have also another mistress aside from her.
Domestic Helper should not always agree for anything that man offer to them. This might be a lesson for them not go after sweet words...because most men abroad also is married and always reason out about their family life or their wife to deceived someone...
